Yeah there have been stances when my kids had to face trauma at the hands of teacher. One day for none of his fault, one of the teachers punished my 6yrs old son. He was made to stand throughout the class and he was given a slap to. It was not acceptable at any cost. Every thing was reported to the seniors and the teacher had to apologize in written.
I'd think the teacher should do more than an apology for the slap!! It is one thing to make the child stand throughout the class, but *slapping* is a totally different story. Were there enough witnesses? I'd press physical abuse charges.
